The only reason that John Lennon didn’t put the word ‘literally’ into the lyrics for Love is All You Need, is because it wouldn’t fit neatly into the song’s rhythmic structure. But it was implied.
Not all settings are picture-perfect – sometimes bringing a newborn into a large family is a touch chaotic. So there are no perfectly swaddled babies here. Not arty breastfeeding shots, no Tumblr-worthy nurseries. Just two parents and two grandmothers who are besotted with this little girl.
Oh, and a whole lot of window light. And love.
And love, as I keep saying to clients, is all you need.
