I’ve been sitting on this shoot for awhile – a little overwhelmed by this year’s events. I don’t think there has been anyone in our industry that hasn’t been deeply affected by this pandemic – on both a personal and professional level. Rachelle and Cam were supposed to celebrate their engagement right as the lockdown happened, and like many of our couples, were devastated that months of planning suddenly came to a halt. It felt a bit disingenuous to be posting these shots then so I thought I’d keep them until we spied a little more hope on the horizon.
It had been been ages since we had shot at Tallebudgera but damn, it never fails to deliver. We had to duck for cover a few times as the intermittent rain and impending storm closed in on us, but hey, a little chaos never hurt anyone. Right at the end of the shoot, the clouds parted, and the full moon revealed itself in all its glory which was definitely. worth. the. wait. Sometimes you just have to trust that the right moments will emerge. ?
