When Rachel and Josh told us about their plans to elope barefoot in a forest in Currumbin, it was all we could do to silence our beating, beating hearts. Hailing from Sydney, they had planned to elope quietly and announce their nuptials at their Gold Coast engagement party later that night, which they did both to the surprise and delight of their friends and families
They exchanged their vows with two friends and the forest as their witness, and then we spent the afternoon exploring creeks and rock pools and waterfalls and quietly celebrating their first few hours as husband and wife before they broke the news, ate cake and danced the night away.
