We are natural light photojournalists and connection artists, who shoot weddings, elopements, love stories and connection portraits. Our style is a hybrid mix of documentary and portrait photography, which enables us to tell your story in a heartfelt, authentic way.
We are primarily based in Brisbane, Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, but will travel anywhere for love.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Erica Wheadon – Principal Photographer
Erica holds a Bachelor of Media from Southern Cross University. She began her career as a high school Film & TV teacher, before moving into corporate videography and training, and sliding sideways into more creatively fulfilling pursuits. She began taking on wedding and portraiture clients several years later, launching Wildhearted & Hitched – a clan of boutique elopement specialists on the Gold Coast that helped hundreds of couples run away and elope in stunning locations – before running away herself to the NSW South Coast to be a writer.
Lured back by warmer weather, Erica returned home to Queensland with a renewed desire for storytelling and human connection. When she’s not shooting, she’s finishing her Masters of Arts in Writing & Literature, and working on a collection of short speculative fiction. You can find her haunting back-alley whisky bars, making new Spotify playlists or finishing (hahaha) her thesis.
