Synchronicity is what brought Kody and Emma together, and it’s also what steered them towards the back country laneways of the inner Gold Coast hinterland, where we walked along lazy stretches of canefields and played in the fiercest wind and late afternoon light. The connection these two share is instinctual and by the time the sun had settled well beyond the range, we we all had tears in our eyes.
