Kate & Scott wanted the best of both worlds when they got married, and when they wanted a simple, intimate ceremony for family plus a reception for 100 of their closest friends – we said hell yeah!
Overlooking Cabarita Beach on a bright Summer’s day, they said their vows with the sun beating down (and a few cold ones on standby), before proceeding to Cabarita Beach Surf Life Saving Club where they partied into the night. We snuck them off for for a few shots at sundown, just as the full moon was rising over the ocean.
The day was full of so much love, and laughter and kick-ass tunes by DJ Corey Hill. What better way to spend a Summer wedding with the ones you love!
P.S Funny story (well it is now): I may or may not have dropped an SD card just after the photo by the lit-up tree, and then driven over an hour back to Mt Tamborine before completely. freaking. out. My saint of a husband then may or may not have driven back over the border so he could crawl on his hands and knees with a flashlight IN THE DARK to find it. Luckily after triangulating the position from the last shot on the previous SD card, the card was retrieved, I bought a safer card pouch, and vowed to uh, never do that again.
